My early-career experience in training clients within a medical setting through mind-body approaches for managing stress and other conditions led me to develop expertise in modalities such as Hypnosis, EMDR, Yoga, NLP, EFT and Mindfulness. Mindfulness practice has helped me develop the ability to be deeply present with my clients and help them face difficult life situations and problematic behaviors with compassion. My understanding of what holds problems in place and how to help people change is also guided by the Internal Family Systems Model. Interpersonal Neurobiology, Coherence Therapy, Positive Psychology are also important influences in the way I work. I am constantly learning and I strive to integrate the most up to date information in my field into my practice.
I guide each person through an experiential process where the very foundation of longstanding issues and problems are dispelled very powerfully. Clients report profound changes in self-concept, quality of relationships, and troublesome symptoms such as anxiety, panic, low self-worth, procrastination, chronic anger, and many more. While it is exciting to witness the "aha" moments that occur in sessions as clients experience deeply meaningful change, sometimes change occurs in more gradual, subtle means, much as an onion can be peeled back in layers. I value each person's unique needs and respect the healing power within each individual.
